My appreciation for music spans all genres, which means I take pride in creating the perfect instrument for your preferred musical styles.

I have degrees in Music (BMus ‘95) and Education (BEd ’03) and have been working on creative projects since childhood. I began by restoring a mandolin of obscure origin. My first fully built instrument was a wood-bodied National-style guitar, completed in 2005.  I was hooked.  I continued to build part time, then after leaving public school teaching in 2017, I began to develop my workshop full time shortly afterwards.

I treasure creating unique, heirloom quality art pieces that not only sound great, but reflect the essence of the musicians playing them.  Each instrument comes with a story, I work to infuse special personal meaning that resonates with the player.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional musician; I love collaborating with anyone who would value a one-of-a-kind, quality instrument made especially for them.  If that’s you, or someone you care about, I would enjoy talking with you and exploring the countless possibilities of creating your dream instrument.  Go here or click on the contact page to contact me directly.
